BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file distribution protocol with a method of distributing vast amounts of data without the control of a middle man. There are many available BitTorrent clients available for use in Kubuntu, however <application>KTorrent</application> is the default application. Other applications available as a BitTorrent client include, but are not limited to, <application>Azureus</application>, <application>BitTornado</application>, <application>BitTorrent</application> and more. <application>Azureus</application> is one of the more popular BitTorrent clients in use today and is created in Java.
