Saving an image uses XCF, GIMP's native file format (file extension <tt>.xcf</tt>). This preserves the layers and many aspects of your work-in-progress, allowing to work on it again later. Once a project is completed, you can export it as JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc.
Za čuvanje slike se koristi XCF, Gimpov izvorni format datoteke (ekstenzija datoteke <tt>.xcf</tt>). Ovo čuva slojeve i mnoge aspekte procesa nastanka slike, što vam omogućava da nastavite njenu obradu kasnije. Kada projekat bude završen, možete da je izvezete kao JPEG, PNG, GIF, i sl.
