Saving an image uses XCF, GIMP's native file format (file extension <tt>.xcf</tt>). This preserves the layers and many aspects of your work-in-progress, allowing to work on it again later. Once a project is completed, you can export it as JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc.
Zapisywanie obrazu używa formatu XCF, własnego formatu programu GIMP (rozszerzenie <tt>.xcf</tt>). Zachowuje to warstwy i[nbsp]wielu innych rzeczy dotyczących danego projektu, umożliwiając wznowienie nad nim pracy w[nbsp]późniejszym czasie. Po ukończeniu pracy można wyeksportować obraz do docelowego formatu, takiego jak JPEG, PNG, GIF itp.
