We recognise that the project works better when we trust the teams closest to a problem to make the decision for the project. If we learn of a decision that we disagree with, we can engage the relevant team to find common ground, and failing that, we have a governance structure that can review the decision. Ultimately, if a decision has been taken by the people responsible for it, and is supported by the project governance, it will stand. None of us expects to agree with every decision, and we value highly the willingness to stand by the project and help it deliver even on the occasions when we ourselves may prefer a different route.

Reconocemos que el proyecto funciona mejor cuando confiamos en los equipos más próximos al problema para la toma de decisiones. Si llegamos a conocer una decisión con la que estamos en desacuerdo, podemos entrar en contacto con el equipo pertinente para encontrar un terreno común, y en su defecto, disponemos de una estructura de gobierno que puede revisar la decisión. Si finalmente la decisión se ha tomado por la persona responsable de la misma, y cuenta con el apoyo de la dirección del proyecto, se mantendrá. Nadie espera que estemos de acuerdo con cada decisión tomada, y se valora muy positivamente la voluntad para permanecer en el proyecto y ayudar a su entrega, incluso en aquellas ocasiones en las que hubiéramos preferido ir en una dirección distinta.
