<emphasis>security = domain:</emphasis> this mode allows the <application>Samba</application> server to appear to <trademark class="registered">Windows</trademark> clients as a Primary Domain Controller (<acronym>PDC</acronym>), Backup Domain Controller (<acronym>BDC</acronym>), or a Domain Member Server (<acronym>DMS</acronym>).
