<phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> comes with a video player installed by default called <application>Dragon Player</application>. It is a simple and lightweight video player that can play almost any video file (provided the necessary codecs are installed). For video editing, the preferred choice is <application>Kino</application>, a non-linear video editor. <application>Kino</application> is not installed by default with <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase>, but it can be easily installed from the <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> Software Center: (<application>Muon</application>).
